Michael Marten

As our dedicated Maintenance and Aftercare Manager, Mike is involved in projects during pre-handover, handover and the twelve-month defects period. He is also responsible for the company’s PPM maintenance contracts and has a small team of maintenance engineers reporting to him.

Mike has built up over 35 years of experience in the industry. He started his career with F P Hurley in 1985 as a Mechanical Fitter, having just completed his mechanical apprenticeship. His ability to go above and beyond saw him progress to Senior Fitter and then Company Supervisor. In 2010 Mike was promoted to Maintenance and Aftercare Manager, and is now based at the company HQ in Bridgend.

Having 35+ years of experience in a variety of roles contribute to Mike’s ability to deliver an outstanding service to clients. He is known for his analytical approach to problem-solving and his teamwork skills, which enable him to effectively communicate ideas and solutions, thus ensuring the building can function efficiently and sustainably.

In his own time, Mike loves to travel and spend time with his family. He enjoys good food and keeping fit through swimming.
