Glen Hopson

Glen joined the Company in 2018, having worked in the mechanical building services industry for over 15 years. Previously, Glen worked as a Mechanical Site Manager overseeing large commercial projects, whilst studying for his HND in Building Services. On achieving his qualification, he then worked as a Project Manager before making the move over to F P Hurley & Sons Ltd. Glen is passionate about mechanical engineering, and has a broad knowledge of the various elements of the industry, from design, installation and maintenance perspectives. Glen has worked hard to prove himself as a highly capable and skilled Project Manager since his appointment, displaying a real team working ethic and ability to deliver high quality projects. A highlight of his career was winning the CIBSE Young Engineers Award for achieving excellent results during his HND.

Away from work Glen enjoys spending time with his young family, attending live music events and watching rugby. He is a keen reader, and enjoys many different genres- from engineering books to classic literature.
